How to get a six pack ab fast....

Most of us want to look good and change our body shape but most of us have little time and need to fit in our workouts around, work, family and kids. Also with the current financial climate I often get asked how can I get a six pack ab fast without expensive gym memberships?

Well, it is a lot easier than you think. The key to getting a six pack is not thousands of crunches a day or those ab machines you see advertised. The secret is burning fat and reducing that belly fat layer that covers those abdominal muscles.

With an exercise routine that takes 10-15 minutes a day you can burn between 150-200 calories. Do this every day and that's a whopping 1400 calories a week. I like to think of this as a mini circuits workout. I would recommend doing these exercises on a soft yoga mat to reduce the impact on the knees and reduce the risk of injury.

First two minutes: Use a Jump Rope and do one jump per turn of the rope. Remember to use a correct size jump rope and land softly on the balls of the feet.

Minutes two to three: Squat Thrust and then jump up into a Star Jump. When doing the squat thrust, when you go back into the squat position jump up and throw the arms and legs out to the sides to make a start shape. When you land, go down and straight into the squat thrust position. Ideally do this exercise on a yoga mat and remember to land softly on the balls of the feet when landing.

Minutes three to four: Back to the jump rope and this time do two jumps per turn of the jump rope.

Minutes four to five: Squat Thrust and Push Up. Between squat thrusts do one push up and then straight into the squat thrust.

Minutes five to six: Back to the Jump Rope and again do one jump per turn of the rope.

Minutes six to seven: Squat Thrust then into a star jump and then on landing go down and do a press up. Then straight back into the squat thrust and repeat. These are going to hurt but just think of the fat loss and how good your six pack ab will look.

Minutes seven to eight: Back to jump rope and do two jumps per turn of the rope.

Minutes eight to nine: Squat thrust and then stand up and sprint on the spot lifting your legs high for 5 seconds and then back into the squat thrust and repeat. Feel that fat burn off!

Minutes nine to ten: Jump rope and do one jump per turn of the rope.

Finish and congratulate yourself. You will have worked up quite a sweat in this short period of time so remember to drink plenty of water. Do this every day, lose the belly fat and watch that six pack appear.
